Breeding records

A breeding record is a mating window for a dam, with each servicing in it and the sire of each. A multi-sire litter has several sires; a window recorded before the first servicing has none. These routes read the records of the business that connected your app, in full, including the breeder’s own notes.

Access

• A token from the authorization-code grant. A client-credentials token answers 403 0010010000406.
• The business must keep a valid payment card on file; without one, 403 0010010000407.
• Scope breeding:read, declared by your app and granted by the business on the consent page — see Business resources.

List and get

GET /api/breeding/v1/records?animalId={animalId}&page=1&pageSize=20
GET /api/breeding/v1/records/{id}

animalId (an animal id) keeps the records where that animal is the dam or any sire. Newest first (by the window’s start). A record of another business answers 404, exactly like one that does not exist.

Field	Meaning
sireAnimalIds	The sires of the servicings, earliest first, each once. Empty before the first servicing.
servicings	Each servicing: its sire, matingMethod and time.
matingMethod	The first servicing’s method: NATURAL, AI_FRESH, AI_CHILLED, AI_FROZEN, SURGICAL_AI, EMBRYO_TRANSFER; null when there is none.
matingStartedAt, matingEndedAt	The mating window. matingDate is its start as a date.
expectedBirthDate, expectedBirthLatestDate	From the newest recorded pregnancy, else an expected litter; null when neither gives one, or once the litter is born.
notes	The breeder’s private notes. Treat them as the business’s confidential data.
