Overview
The United Pet Club Partner API is a versioned REST API at
https://api.unitedpetclub.com that lets an approved application read and, for some
resources, write platform data on behalf of a United Pet Club account — animals,
appointments, health records, orders, marketplace listings, content, social publishing and
more.
How access works
Section titled “How access works”- Your application is registered. You get a
client_id, and aclient_secretunless the app is a public client. Register an app for the Partner API yourself under Account → Developer → Applications, or let the software register itself atPOST https://auth.unitedpetclub.com/connect/register— the way in for WordPress plugins, AI-built websites and AI agents (see WordPress plugins and AI agents). See Support for other access. - You exchange the credentials for a short-lived access token — with the client-credentials grant for your application itself, or with the authorization-code grant after a business connects your app on the United Pet Club consent page (the Partner API: booking, appointments, clients and webhooks for that business). See Authentication.
- You call the API with that token. Every request is authorized against the scopes the token
carries and the permissions behind them. Calls outside either return
403.
A token is bound to whom it acts for — your application’s account, or the one business that connected your app. There is no account or business parameter to pass.
What it costs
Section titled “What it costs”The API is free, for you and for the businesses that connect your app. A business can connect
an app, and its apps can act for it, only while it keeps a valid payment card on file
(Dashboard → Finances → Billing). The platform takes its fees on the bookings and services an app
creates from the business’s payouts, and charges the card for what the payouts do not cover.
Without a card, the consent page does not let the business allow your app, and the Partner API
answers 403 with platformResponseCode 0010010000407 for that business. Registering an app
needs no card.
